Default President Obama Does It Again!

...And my night spent following the elections has been rewarded. A close match, but there can only be one winner.

Congratulations, Barrack Obama. Another 4-year term to make positive changes.

It's about 4 university students in Nigeria, who were beaten for hours, stripped naked, and then set on fire whilst still alive.

They were publicly lynched, after being accused of stealing a Blackberry and two laptops (which later turned out to be false). This happened about 6 weeks ago.

There are videos of their brutal torture, and sad demise on Youtube. Just searching for "Uniport Students" brings it up. Two were only 19. There's an online petition to stamp out mob rule / Jungle Justice, and that's what #JusticeforAluu4 is all about - creating an awareness of a very barbaric practice.

Jeez, that's bad! It's appalling what we can do to each other.

Agree on Obama - great to watch, even if it did mean not going to bed till 4am, and then getting in the s8 at 9am to drive for 3 hours to Glasgow - easier than it would have been in almost any other car.

An object lesson in grass roots democracy in action - I was even impressed with Romney's concession speech. Four more years...

I managed to stay up until about three and then couldn't take it anymore, I'm glad Obama won.

On a serious note, that's awfully sad, Nollywood. Makes me really glad I was born and raised here, in the UK. Crazy sh1t like this happens in India too where my parents were born. We were driving along one day and the Police just pulled us over and asked for money, if we didn't give it he'd plant something on us, he just told us straight up. Puts things into perspective when I'm moaning about high fuel prices or bad roads. Glad to live in a modern developed country where 99% of people have their heads screwed on.
