Default Memorabilia Auction - Next Auction TBA

Hello all,
Been a while since I posted but life, being self employed, refurbishing my house, divorcing the wife, paying the solicitors fees is a bit time consuming! Wish I was still in the Navy!!

I have a near neighbor whose teenage daughter is raising money to go and work with a charity in South America. I have been passing anything that I no longer have a place for to her to sell at car boot sales. From this I met her father who saw the S8, I showed the project car to, he liked it and told me he was an Audi salesman in the early to mid 90s and was involved in the 8s introduction to the UK (drove the very first one). From that he has amassed a lot of Audi sales paraphernalia in his loft which he undertook to pass to me after I explained about the forum.
I have had the first small batch and, as I am not and memorabilia type person, I undertook to put it on the forum for auction, proceeds after costs to go to his daughter's project.

So dear forum members I will set up a thread for each item and allow members to bid for each item in an open auction.

The Rules:
1. Post your bids openly. No PMs and no sell it now prices.
2. Auction will run for 7 days plus 48 hours after the last bid is placed. Therefore after 7 days if no bid is placed for 48 hours the item is sold. Bids after this 48 hour period will be cancelled by me.
3. I will accept payment by PayPal (fees payable by winner) or Bank Transfer.
4. Payment to be made within 48 hours of receipt of acknowledgement that you are the winner or I will offer it to the next highest bidder.
5. Ask all questions about the item publicly and I will answer publicly so we don't get multiples of the same question.
6. The forum owners and my decisions are final.
7. Dispatch will be by Royal Mail. Postage paid by winner. Insurance will be available at extra cost. I will try and get an estimate of cost of post and packaging before auction end.

Sounds like a good cause and a very good plan. Can't wait to see what the rest of the Lots have in them.

My daughter did the same type of trip about 6 years ago, and got a helluva lot out of it, so hopefully she'll raise a lot and have a similar experience.
