Interesting. I guess they used the same fuse location for Bose and standard then. It must feed the active rear speakers on the way to the audio gear.

I distinctly remember the punctual comparison though. If I remember correctly, it wasn't Top Gear but that series he did where he talked about the car industries of various nations and their stereotypical qualities. I seem to remember he was talking to the owner of a Japanese car at the time, when he asked him why he always bought Japanese cars. |
well , as stated in my post of the 4th bought a new battery installed on the 12th with 12.45 volts to begin
after 2 days with no use down to 12.25 volts removed 20 amp fuse ...after 2 more days no use but AA solar charger fitted to battery via OBD down to 12.05 volts m'aidez , m'aidez |
According to the interwebs 12.45V is roughly 75%-80% capacity, 12.25V is around 60%
So its lost 20% in just 2 days! If its a 95Ah battery originally, that's 19 amp-hours in 48 hours, or 0.79A continuous draw, that should be easily measurable with an amp meter. I have no idea what might be causing it. |

addendum used the car for shopping friday morning ; by evening the battery was registering 12.3 volts having been disconnected all afternoon voltage saturday 4 pm having stood since previous day 12.45 volts !!! |
That is definitely very odd. Good luck I hope you find & fix the cause of it.

seem to have problem cracked !
andrew suggested some time ago to check for a problem with the boot catch and lo and behold there appears to have been an intermittent problem there which would explain why the voltage went up at one point suffice it to say that following a spray with a mousse type product for electronic components the drain on the new battery has reduced to .02 volts /day which seems to me to be a perfectly acceptable drain bearing in mind the amount of electronics on the car anyway will see the effect of my AA solar panel on the new battery ....even with a modicum of bright light should replace the current level of drain ....we shall see ! anyway , must research where the microswitch is ....bound to happen again |
Was the boot light permanently on then?

would like to know exactly is on the same fuse as the boot lights ...it is not clear to me from the information inside the fuse box covers ; on one occasion opened the boot lid and no lights came on |
