I don't remember if pre facelift cars have ISO connector at the back. If yes, it should work.

Have a look at Xcarlink too, not sure if it works with that radio but they are good at answering questions.

You shouldn't need a SOT kit unless you have Bose.

The MKi9200 is a great bit of kit (got one in the wife's Volvo). Definitely recommended.
