Mods ...Question

Could we please have a W12 section ? The W12 is very unique and most items on the W12 are in totally different locations and I think it would be useful to have a W12 section that can house all the W12 related questions and solutions from over the years ? As more and more people are buying them now +++

Next question... can we have a blown thread  a section for both supercharged and turbocharging regardless of D2 or D3 ? As we have a few lurkers with supercharged A8s and I'd like to have a section where we can see people's journeys, and how they did it ect. ..

Finally ... an LPG section so we can all talk Gas and help each other out +++

Opinions please people ? :)

Would be very nosy in the W12 section - possible next car in 3/4 years.

Also LPG - good idea!

I think we do quite a bit of gassing on this site ;)

I like the idea for an LPG section, as when I was originally looking into it, there wasn't a lot of information available, and what was, was scattered around various sections.

These suggestions sound sensible.
I suggest they are created and those with an interest start posting, copying significant existing information in other sections as appropriate.

Then if it seems popular and useful let it run, otherwise close it down.

So, I maintain that the W12 is simply a different engine setup, like the Diesels differ from the Petrols and if we start subdividing engines up the forum could become cluttered. Its not a no, never, but its definitely a 'not right now'

For now, I think the serious engine modifications should sit nicely in the 'All marques Build Section' with appropriate titles of supercharged xyz etc.

I do however like the idea of having somewhere to collect information about LPG, and after the last meeting in Wales, electric cars too.

So we now have an Alternative Fuels section on the forum under general motoring, exclusively for all propulsion that isn't petrol or diesel..... +++
