19" D3 alloys WANTED

If anyone has any wheels knocking round (excuse the pun) that they want to convert into beer tokens,.. Let me know. I'm sick of my 17s.

Cheers and happy new year (almost)+++

I have a nice set of 18" that I had on my D3. They are OEM from an Allroad but looked smart and a bit more modern than the stock 17" that I had also.
Drop me a PM if you want to make an offer on them.

Happy New Year

I have these kicking around that I won't be using now as I'm going to run my bentleys over winter and just keep them clean.

Oem and 19" with tyres but would benefit from new tyres of your choice.

New center caps would be needed aswell as all these style wheels corrode after years on the car.

I'm really on the fence with these wheels. In great condition on the right 8 they are perfect IMHO. Almost make the 8 look like a concept car, in the best sense.

But the finish, (is it diamond cut?) just doesn't seem to age well. I saw a black 8 today at CostCo with these very wheels, and it put me off them. Crazy cos just a year ago, I was really hoping to find an 8 to buy, with those very wheels.

Maybe I'm going mad, or its age or something.

Thanks everyone for the input.

I've still got my set of five 18" original S8 Avus wheels. ;)
I've always assumed they are really suited for D2-era cars, but maybe they would look good on a D3 too?

As noted in the thread http://audisrs.com/about59203.html they are currently reserved for a D2 owner until "after Christmas" so if you are potentially interested do please PM me.

I love these wheels they suit the car so well. But these have been painted silver and would need refurb but there are so many company's out there, my sister works for a wheel place so the possibilitys of colours you could have are endless. I'd go slightly off silver almost greyish on a dark car. Would work so wel or bright silver.

If Avus 18's are an option I have a set listed also +++

I've seen yours Paul. Not for me, but suit the earlier generations very much I think.

HPsauce 5th January 2016 04:30 PM

Paul's are a later version than mine, they look more like the "facelift" S8 ones. Mine are the first version, less angular and with the plain domed centre caps.
If Paul's don't suit I very much doubt mine will.
See my signature pic, the ones for sale are like the ones on the Agate Grey PF S8, Pauls are more like those on the dark green FL one behind it.
