WTB FL S8 front bumper license filler/delete plate

Hello everyone, I'm looking for a front filler plate for my S8. Are these shared with any other vehicles? They seem to be mighty hard to find in the US.

Thank you!

You mean this?
I have one but it took me 2 years of searching to find one online in the states and then ridiculous amounts of money to customs in the UK to import it!
It may well be cheaper to get the original part number, get one ordered from Germany via TPS and then spray it to suit your car colour!
You will need to modify your bumper to put slots into it as the filler clips in using tangs on the back, or cut the tangs off and fix another way. only the genuine US bumpers had the slots ready made

That's the one! Too bad it's so rare... I wonder if any other models would fit? Would you happen to have a part number?

Thank you

I'd be very surprised if any others fit as the bumper filler is curved specifically to match the D2 Bumper, But I do have the part number -

4D0 807 287L
and then in my case it has a sticker on the back which says
Melange X1T which is the colour code for my car

I found more pictures which may help - they also show the tangs on the back a bit better

That looks like a pretty sturdy fit, how hard is it to get on and off and does it fit over the numberplate OK?
And how did you cut the slots in the bumper?

What colour is your S8? There's a Ming Blue one on eBay in the US (Syracuse NY) right now http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252731789998.

No I didnt want to cut slots in my bumper so the correct path for my car has turned into a prong removal scheme (cut so the bumper filler sits at the right height) and the deployment of many pairs of very strong magnets (from model plane cockpit useage) to hold on either the number plate or the bumper filler for shows etc. . . . .or at least thats the theory. . . Ive got all the parts but havent done it yet!
