D4 A8 Review in Autocar

I was lucky enough to have had an invite to look around the world's largest audi centre in west london on Monday this week and all I can say is wow! :D
I got shown around the museum cars on the top 2 floors and generally treated like royalty (they'll do anything if they get a whiff of a sale haha)
What was even more interesting is that you can rent the rooms on the top 2 floors for meetings *ahem A8 Owners club* ahem lol :D
I'm very taken with the new S5 Sportback to replace my A4 +++
But even more importantly the good news is that I've been invited to an exclusive press preview of the new A8 next Monday, and they say its like a couple of months before one will be seen anywhere else so WOOHOOOO :D
Will try and take pics etc and report back for all :cool:

The 0-60 in the 3.0 diesel is exactly the same as the the 0-60 in a D2 S8! (Pre Map!)

yes and Im sure I read somewhere that the 4.2 Fsi does it in 5.5 secs too

It will be interesting to see what the 4.2 TDI does it in in that case.

Cool - thanks for the link. I suppose if Audi can do nice stuff with their cars it makes sense that they can make nice display cases for them :ROFL:

Look forward to the scoop from the press launch - more pictures the better and any insider details would be good. Now where did that €100k go to, i know it was around here somewhere... :rolleyes:
