steering rack
 

Hi just asking if anyone has adjusted preloaded and greased there steering rack because i have cracking when you jiggle the steering wheel is there a thread on how this is done.

I'm wondering do you mean 'creaking' although I'd describe mine more as moaning and groaning when turning the steering wheel. I had this before and topped up the fluid reservoir - and this was not too many thousand miles ago. Now that's it's moaning again, I'm wondering will another top-up cure it although I'm then left wondering where the fluid goes to as I don't have any leaks?
