D3 wheels on a D2 possible?

I'm liking some of the stock D3 wheels, especially the larger 18-20" ones. Is it possible to use a D3 wheel on a D2 (1998 A8) ?

perfectly possible spinedoc you just need to ensure that the rolling radius's are same front and back (or within 1%) or the quattro will be confused. 19 or 20" by 8.5 or 9" wheels are perfectly possible all around.

Sweet, I plan on just using the same tire size front and back (not staggered) so that shouldn't be an issue. Some of the other forums are telling me the max is a 19" and/or 8.5 width though.

Well mine are 9x21 front with 275 35 21's and 10.5 x 21 at rear with 295 25 21's. Singh has 20 x 9 with 285 35 20 all around on his I think!!!
