That time of year again.....

Oh well, I checked over my documentation and found that my MOT was due at the end of the month, so I called for an appointment this morning, and it was tested an hour and a half later.
I had some reservations about the effectiveness of the handbrake, though it does hold the car on the slope on my drive, but I never use it anyway...

Woo Hoo (to quote a certain dysfunctional yellow tv cartoon dude), the old girl sailed through again without any advisories...
well pleased...

I am indeed Neil, I look forward to meeting you guys; That is finance permitting, as I've lost my employment now with little chance of finding anything suitable :(

Don't believe what the Govt tell you, I'm a registered carer now (with a few health issues of my own) and they expect me to care for my disabled wife & daughter full time for less than one fifth of what they claim as a cap. This can only get worse as ATOS are now rolling out their rather 'loaded' scheme in my area as we speak....

I may have to have a cull on my vehicles (2 are on SORN), and my 8's only done 650 miles this year between MOT's

I hate soundbite & tabloid headline grabbing politics, whoever its from...

And naturally there's NO ackowledgement for the fact that I'm trying to re-train for a 'compatible' career, even this 'late' in life, that will fit in with current circumstances which will not improve - at my own expense of course, with several years to go before I qualify. :(

(fallen off my soap box now!)
