Some facts on the 14 cylinder version:

Total engine weight: 2300 tons (The crankshaft alone weighs 300 tons.)

Length: 89 feet

Height: 44 feet

Maximum power: 108,920 hp at 102 rpm

Maximum torque: 5,608,312 lb/ft at 102rpm

No, this is going in the back of brand new 2 seater S8 model. They had to put it in the back because of visibility problem with it sticking out of bonnet. Rumour has it that it solves nose heavy under-steer problem as well.:ROFL:

Variable ratio gearbox let's you drive full power at any speed. Always 102rpm at crank- variable speed at wheels.

Somebody already retrofitted it to golf with slight visibility issue

Surely that's only the 6-cylinder version popped into the golf?
For an 8 you'd want the larger engine, at least 8 or 10 cylinders. Or for enthusiasts 14 cylinders and 100,000hp would be "handy".
Diesel-electric would probably work better than CVT though. +++
