Opinions please guys,thinking of getting the S8s done.Is it pointless on a TFSI lump?As it'll miss the carbon build up in the intake manifolds?:Confused:

It's pointless on an FSI apparently, for tenchincal reasons I don't understand but read up about on the B7 RS 4 forum on 246.

Thanks,thats what I heard too its because the fuel is injected straight into each cylinder as opposed to being sprayed into the manifold.I picked up Audi fuel additive from my last to trip to TPS,haven't used it yet as seems pointless :Confused:

I heard a standard D3 S8 floor it recently, and it sounded 10x better than my RS 6, not as loud, with the volume up a bit that would just be the most perfect noise in the world.

Might just do that,and I want a ride in your RS6 when you're feeling generous mate +++

Thanks for that Amar,think i'll just go down the Milltek route,
or buy a D4 S8 +++

Just for interest sake .... these Guys are doing some amazing work
on TFSI ' s ... RS4's etc in SA.

Noticeable gains after de-carbon and quite scary the amount of carbon build-up there is .....
