Roof channels corroded

Hi All,

My D3 is in pretty good shape with only some stonechip damage to the front bumper and sill covers letting it down. Other than this, the boot handle has been badly repainted at some point which I can take care of.

The only bit I am concerned about is the roof channels.

Can someone advise how these are removed, as they would be difficult to treat and repaint in situ.

Thanks.

Plastic lever starting at rear end lever it out and continue along to front

Really? That simple?

Awesome. I'll repaint them when I do the boot handle.

Thanks a lot.

Corrosion on boot handle panel - how to remove?

Can anyone provide any instructions or pictures on how to remove the bot release insert which is corroded on my D3 S8. This is the panel with number plate lights and reversing camera as well at boot opening handle.

Thanks

Richard

Hi Richard, I honestly can't be arsed to copy and paste the links because I have has too much beer but if you look at my stats for the thread retrofitting reverse camera its all in there.
