I'm re-appreciating the D3
 

After someone performed a minor shunt into the back of me a few weeks ago, I had it repaired via SytnerDrive third-party claim assistance via the Audi dealership.

Sadly the like-for-like was a sline (poverty spec) 62 plate A6 Estate.
What a horribly ordinary FWD car which despite being 6 years newer and 1/10th of the mileage was inferior in pretty much every way. I could have been in a Peugeot or an Insignia.
When I complained it was not like-for-like they said it was because my A8L was old! In retrospect, I should have stated a better profession/requirement which requires a LWB/luxury car.

A couple of years ago, the same situation resulted in a nearly new A8L D4.

Very similar feelings after driving almost brand new Merc CLS for 2 weeks :D

You can't compare these lesser cars to D3's :D
Seriously though, if you are to beat a D3 at it's game you need a D4 or W222 +++
