Sold: Pair of nearly new 245/45R18 Bridgestone RE050A
That's it in summary, spare as a result of swapping to 20" FE wheels today.
Two nearly new Bridgestone RE050A tyres, purchased about a year ago (manufacturing date code late 2013 IIRC). Have ONLY been used for the summer 2014 season (Apr-Nov), so maybe 3000 miles max (including the 2014 meet in Scotland). I don't have a tread depth gauge, but at most they've worn 1mm from new in that time. No damage or repairs. If anyone is interested I'll check the exact specification/ratings etc. |
Please note that these are 100W XL rated. Cost new about £140 each (inc VAT) back in February 2014, though I think they're a bit less now (Pound vs Euro).
Date code on both is 4213 if I read the right panel. |

Here's a picture (or two) showing the tread.

Thanks,
how much are you wanting for them anyway? I did actually buy two new Bridgestones from tyreleader.com last week but received an email today saying the order has been cancelled as they are out of stock :( |
Not sure, PM me an offer. ;)
|
I've still got these if anyone is interested. Looking for £120 for the pair, collected.

Not an electronic one to give finer detail, but assume 6.5mm give or take. |
Sod's law. If it weren't for the caliper expenditure and labour charges for my MOT, I'd have these. The RE050A is my favourite tyre.
|
I'm in no rush, they're just sitting in my garage at present. ;)
