Sold: Pair of nearly new 245/45R18 Bridgestone RE050A

That's it in summary, spare as a result of swapping to 20" FE wheels today.
Two nearly new Bridgestone RE050A tyres, purchased about a year ago (manufacturing date code late 2013 IIRC).
Have ONLY been used for the summer 2014 season (Apr-Nov), so maybe 3000 miles max (including the 2014 meet in Scotland).

I don't have a tread depth gauge, but at most they've worn 1mm from new in that time. No damage or repairs.
If anyone is interested I'll check the exact specification/ratings etc.

Please note that these are 100W XL rated. Cost new about £140 each (inc VAT) back in February 2014, though I think they're a bit less now (Pound vs Euro).
Date code on both is 4213 if I read the right panel.

Here's a picture (or two) showing the tread.

Thanks,
how much are you wanting for them anyway? I did actually buy two new Bridgestones from tyreleader.com last week but received an email today saying the order has been cancelled as they are out of stock :(

Not sure, PM me an offer. ;)

I've still got these if anyone is interested. Looking for £120 for the pair, collected.

Borrowed a cheap one and measured both tyres at several places. Consistently well over 6mm but just below 7mm.
Not an electronic one to give finer detail, but assume 6.5mm give or take.

Sod's law. If it weren't for the caliper expenditure and labour charges for my MOT, I'd have these. The RE050A is my favourite tyre.

HPsauce 30th April 2015 11:37 AM

I'm in no rush, they're just sitting in my garage at present. ;)
