PF 1997 Front Brake Disc Size
 

Hi All,
Does anyone know what size/thickness front disc I have on my car.
The code in the service book shows it as 1KE, which I believe is the 269mm size disc.
Are the disc the same size for the front and rear, as my fronts are well worn after 170,000 miles of use and need replacing urgently.
There is also heavy squeeking on normal braking coming from the fronts
Also, can anyone recomend cheapish Branded replacements from Euro Carparts

Front disks will be either 323x30mm or 314x30mm, 323mm was used on S8 and some A8's, 314mm was usually used on smaller engine cars. Rear discs will be either 269x20mm or 245x10mm more likely to be the bigger option, if they are vented they will be 269x20mm, on the front only 100% sure method is to measure them, 1LC should be 314mm, 1LX 323mm but I would not trust it 100% without measuring.

Wit the the current exchange rates to euro it makes sense to check German prices.
