Thumbs up Installing S2T Paddle Shifters

My new paddles finally arrived and below is a quick install guide.

If you are interested in buying a set, contact an amazing and extremely helpful guy Tony by filling a contact form on www.tgdperformance.co.uk

First remove the caps on the back of the wheel to gain access to 2x big torx bolts in order to remove the airbag.
It is recommended to keep ignition off and pull Airbag fuse as well.

Ideally you don't want to disconnect the airbag so turn the wheel upside down by 180degrees for this install

After dropping the airbag down so it sits on the steering wheel, pull the plastic ring out, be careful to not put to much force and possibly damage the airbag wiring. Hold the airbag with one hand to prevent falling off the steering wheel. There are four pins holding the plastic trim.

Next slide out the steering wheel buttons to gain access to 2x small standard torx screws, but before removing them unplug the paddles connectors from the side of each button.

Remove the paddles from the steering wheel.

Next grab a thin flat head screwdriver and through the slot behind the paddle push securing pin out. Pull the pin out with pliers in order to separate the paddle from the base.

Before you install new paddle, shave off with a stanley knife a tiny bit of plastic from each securing brackets on both sides. I found this to be the only issue with this install.

Fit new paddles onto the base and push the pin all the way back until it clips in. If it sticks out a bit that means it's not fully in.
Here is your new paddle ready to fit back in onto the steering wheel.

Refit everything back together in revers order.

And here they are. So much better feel than the plastic ones. You will almost always find them no matter how you hold the wheel, almost
The actual gear change feels so much better, no more that plastic noise and feeling, so much better.
Really pleased with them, plus the Polished Clear finish matches interior chromes very well.
They are really comfortable and very quiet
