First one looks quite nice, sorted, refurbed wheels, replaced gearbox, factory tow bar, Xenon plus headlights & elec blinds, and a Quattro sport so it should have the lower suspension. New MOT and 6 months tax and nice colour. If it all checks out then maybe offer £500 less due to mileage and needing 2 tyres.
Second one is a Quattro with lower mileage but if the gearbox is not sorted then you need to allow for any issues. It has no RNS-D sat nav/tv whereas it looks like the first one has and is a non sport model so suspension will be higher. looks tidy but the wheels are an after fit whereas the first car could be original to the car. The vavona interior trim is a tad brighter that most other colours and a bit of an acquired taste. Heated rear seats on this one but not on the first. Overall I'd say the first looks like it is more "sorted" and is a slightly nicer car but each to their own - good luck with the hunt!

First one looks lovely (not a Final Edition though!) with the best wheels and good history with gearbox replaced but about £1000 too expensive IMO due to mileage and no sat nav - can't see inside but no GPS aerial on boot lid. EDIT: the wheels almost certainly not original spec, so would be asking what happened to the 18" Sport wheels, but if they are genuine Audi FE wheels, then they are worth at least £800, if not more, on their own. Not sure how easy it is to retrofit RNS-D or E without the aerial and gubbins in place, anyone?
2nd looks dull, IMO crap colour & wheels, basic spec, about 700 - 800 too much IMO I would only be looking at 1st personally and not pay more than 2900 tops

Looking at the first one, rear end picture. I think the 4.2 and quattro badges are in the wrong place, also it looks to me that the boot is a little wonky.
The wheels on the second one look very small with the normal suspension, and will not be the original wheels. They could even be replica rather than genuine audi wheels.

Looking like we all agree! If you can live without the sat nav, it looks like a 'loved' car. I'd disagree about the wheels not being original. On the 2002 models, the 20" wheels were common as original spec. Even my 2.8 had 20" wheels fitted as standard, which was confirmed on the build sticker.
