Doesn't sound like too much of a headache doing it yourself. Nice work

I just don't trust the standard jack which the car comes equipped with, otherwise known as the 'jack of death'. The thought of doing some sort of emergency repair or risky tyre change at the side of the road using that jack makes me wince.

I keep a cheap 2t trolley jack in my boot and just use that with an ice hockey puck (essentially just a rubber block) or piece of thick folded cardboard since the circular generic plate on the trolley jack won't snuggly slot into any of the shapes found on the D3 jacking points.
