A8 with Pimp Status

I had an amusing 30 mins when I drove to the local kebab shop in the a8. I have done this short journey a few times in the vw bora and never had the same reaction.

When I parked up, I stepped out and this woman walking by suddenly goes 'would you like some business'.....this caught me by surprise and my instant polite reaction, before I even realised what was happening, was to say 'No thank you'.

As she walked away, the implication of the question dawned on me and as I walked off to get my food I was mildly amused and of course very surprised.

Then when I drove back 10 mins later along the same road, travelling at a leisurely pace, I noticed another lady stepping out to the edge of the curb and giving me a big smile as I drove by.

Like I said, I have done this short journey a few times and never had this reaction or noticed prostitutes working along this little stretch of road. But then I wasn't driving the A8 before.

So I conclude, like it or not, the a8 has 'pimp status'.
