Hi There,
Never quite got round to doing this and i really don't see why as it took me under 30mins. Removed the side covers with an old letter opener. Blunt and smooth and strong. Inserted near the back and gently pryed the three press fit studs off with ease. Reclined the passenger seat to get to one of the torq screws, but 4 screws (2 per side) and the tray lifted out with a little effort. The cable hole has a push fit over gromit thing. Once out, 6 small torqs screws and thats it. Removed the long strip and trigger mechanism as well, which just slid out. Leaves a few small holes in the tray which woried me for a second, but placing the tray back and this were covered at the bottom. Put back together noting the locating lug on the over gromit. Pressing the sides back on. Loads more space and my stuff isn't flung over the car when its opened. Now onto running my stereo's USB and IPOD connector into there. There is even a handy hole ![]() Think i'll bin the bits as the cradle and cable and stuff is for such an old phone that resale is less than zero ! cya, Lee |
