Here you go Jim LINKY to Horse meat Can't help regard the dirty tractor fuel issue though, unless they all fit LEZ compliant exhaust like my Ambo

Not just the black pump affected.....

The carmaker, which announced last week that 800,000 diesel and petrol cars across Europe had misleadingly low carbon dioxide emissions figures, has written to the European Union to say it will front the bill for any extra tax-cost implications for owners.

The program last night briefly showed a 2015 opel vectra diesel on test and that too failed miserably.

On a cold test run its nox emissions were three times the euro 6 spec, and on a hot run it was off the scale

GM or opel, said that there is no defeat devices in their cars and the test was either performed incorrectly lol or was done on a defective car.

I think if testing was done to all modern diesels more of the same will be found.

I refuse to believe that the defeat software was even written by VW, more likely it was done by BOSCH at the request of VW which would lead me to suspect other manufacturers have done the same.

That all said there was a section of the program talking about the health impact on us especially in places like london, they went up and down one street that was particularly busy and the Nox levels were huge, traffic on the street? London buses and Taxi's were 95% of the traffic, why is nothing been done about the pollution that stinking heaps spew out everyday.

Trains are none better, massive diesel engines belching out tons of fumes, and where I live the train goes past every 30 mins or so practically empty unless it's rush hour.

The hypocrisy that surrounds green taxes and use public transport to save the environment is a load of bollocks if you ask me, if there were electric trams and trains then we might make a difference but the way things are just now is a joke.

Rant over
