Hi There,
Yeah. I'd had a look through that, but it's very brief and short about the hinges! It mentions about removing the Dash Panel (GR70) which on looking at PDF29 seems to mean taking the whole interior of the car apart, though I can't actually see anything to reason quite why??? It also says that there are bolts on both hinges that are "fitted to -A- pillar from inner side of vehicle" yet nicely forgets to mention how you access these (no GR?? ref there about taking the whole car apart) It seems that there are no adjustment to the hinges, they are just replaced. There *IS* adjustment to the catch plate (which I think the dealers did so that the door closes without a thunk). Any panel gaps seem to be adjusted by tweaking the window frame on page 53, which seems a bit of a bodge to me? |
