Default Inner left centre pdc

Hi guys newbie here, great site and very useful read. My front inner centre sensor is defective. I am told it's a complete bumper out job? Can anyone advice the easiest procedure if there is one???! Can I just take the left headlight out and access that way? Any diagrams will be much appreciated as I intend to tackle it this weekend.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum. If you go to the D3 common faults section there is a D3 Tech Dump, section called "Exterior Body Repairs" or similar contains a section on how to remove the bumper. I'd copy and paste it for you but I'm useless with this iPad

Incidentally, the same position one went on mine a few months ago, the fella who replaced it for me said he managed to do it by loosening the bumper off and easing it forward a little so it may not be a bumper off job by the sound of it.

Good luck

did it on mine, you need to remove the wheels, remove the wheel arch lining and you will see 2 or 3 bolts that keep the bumper on, loosen them off until the bumper pulls forward enough to get your hand in , best to have a new sensor standing by, but often the wires just become loose, i plugged it back in firmly and taped it a bit, no problems since. be careful with the washer bits and pieces

Default friggin Bumper!!!

spent 3 hours but failed miserably. It looks like the 5 torx screws under the bonnet holding the bumper have corroded. I managed to open 4/5 and then realised 2 under the foam bit. 1 is totally Sha***! rusted Any tips guys how to remove these buggers? can't get any size torx bit as it will just shear away what ever is left. I might have to drill it out, or rather get someone to do so. Had to put everything back on after failing miserably. Also can anyone give me the size of these Fookers, the 5 torx screws and the 2 under the foam? or is it dealer only?
thanks guys

Absolutely doable with unbolting just one side as we found out today with H-M3.
No point to remove the whole bumper, just one side will do for each corner and center sensor
