Ben I have already spoke to you about this, and like everyone else. Let us know if there's anything I can do. My brother in law, an optician will be coming with the A8 so feel free to ask him anything.

John, that holy man doesn't happen to be from Lutterworthish area does he? My sister had this problem with her hand that no one could sort, doctors tried for months and she went to a holy man or something like that someone recommended and he sorted it in 15 minutes, its perfect now!

Default Just seen this!

and also gutted for you Ben

BUT hopefully total loss of sight is worse case scenario AND 2-20 years is a long time during which further strides will be made in medical knowledge and technology.

Stay positive

Ben, I can only hope that strides are made in the right direction to aid the successful (and hopefully less invasive) recification of your eyesight.

You know I'm always on the end of the phone for you dude, anytime, just gimme a shout. And give that holy man a shot.....nothing ventured, nothing gained

Cheers chaps. Your support is really helpful, everyone's been cool over this - especially Mike with his "humour" the other day!!

Hey Tony, cheers for offer of phone aid! It'll give me good reason to upgrade my iphone so I have voice control soon!!

I think I'm gonna put in for my Motor bike licence. It's not that I have a huge interest in bikes but always planned to get a proper bike later in life - may be a good idea to get a chuffin wriggle on given the circumstances!

Ben. I'm shocked and so sorry to hear your situation. It really puts all our motor related niggles in perspective. I was reading about gene therapy going to very early trials for macular degeneration just the other day. If realated to your condition I can send a link over to you if you want.
