Default Mot ????

Hi There,

Got my first D3 MOT next wednesday. She's in reasonable shape and getting better as I slowly fix and tweak jobs on her.

However.....There's something amis with the air suspension...A leak or maybe the compressor needs tweaking. Anyway It won't do the leveling set-up and that throws out the self leveling lights!!!

I did tweak it from when i got the car (could see 10m in front) to being drivable in the lights set-up....But needless to say this area worries me. Seems a daft thing to fail on though

Any thoughts ???

Lee

Faulty or un-calibrated yaw sensor?

I have never done the level calibration myself, but from what i have read from others trying the setup has to be followed to the letter for a successful calibration, thats also assuming there are no faults with the car to begin with.

if it was a faulty yaw sensor you would pick that up on VagCom scan, so get a scan if you can. I have changed one and they are in an incredibly stupid to get to place under the front of the centre console and the HVAC controls and the sensor is the size of a matchbox and Audi wanted over £700+vat for a new one!
Needless to say our sponsors provided one at a sensible price

Hi there,

It's the air suspension that's got a fault....leak/compressor or something which means the control position isn't leaned and it won't curently do it!

But it looks like the headlight leveling hangs off it
