Thanks for your email, we can certainly help with this request. There are two requirements you need to get the 3G signal. 

- Firmware update £175 + VAT or £325 + VAT with latest 2015 Maps included.
Please see this link for more info.

- MMi 3G Plus internal GSM Amplifier - £250 + VAT. 

This update will also enable to Google Earth Display. 

The above updates usually take 5-6 hours and we will need the vehicle brought to us for this update.

Take the pricing with a pinch of salt, it was a while ago so may have changed.

Really sweet feature I found today....

If you raise the front seat up with the headrest extended, it will lower the headrest as you raise the seat automatically to prevent it hitting the roof...

I also played with the online Audi connect services yesterday - Online weather reports for your destination, hotels. local fuel prices etc.. Whiled away a good chunk of time whilst ambling effortlessly on a long journey with adaptive cruise doing its job nicely

youve got quite a spec on that car, what options do you feel your missing out on, besides a very brown interior

Rear massage and ventilated individual seats, which if I'm honest, would never be used and in no way make me interested in swapping alone.

Of greater interest to me is the 'design interior'. Having an 'exclusive' Audi interior has been on my bucket list for years, and despite trying hard (and very, very nearly buying an exclusive W12 back in 2009) I've never actually owned one. Even fell short on the RS6 with it too.

Otherwise the specs are virtually identical. I do prefer the black paint, probably enough to make the brown palatable, but would need to see it all in the flesh first, and grit my teeth hard enough to stomach the salesman.

agree the rear stuff would never be used,

but if your ideal is all the toys possible and an exclusive interior, how long would it be before that brown just didnt cut it. no point in having an exclusive interior that actually youve made do with and forced yourself to accept.

one day one will appear that is both exclusive and tasteful

Of course..... Stretch I think has become my favourite program..

Also had sunroof open and ventilated seats on too. Gave the Bose a decent workout too and was pleasantly surprised at its improvement over the D3 version....

Should have expected it though as D3 was vast improvement over D2...

I like stretch and alternate with lumbar

Question about your roof, is it solar? Does it spin up the fans when the ignition is off as per the D3? Trying to decide if mine is in need of some attention, or if it's just not sunny enough :/
