Yeah, its some kind of mesh but not sure. Its not the W12 but facelift A8 grille. W12 facelift grille has vertical chrome lines.
The guy who has the car bought the grille from a guy who "custom" makes those. He take the grill and attaches the mesh somehow to the back of the grille. Im thinking this must be possible to do myself. Since the 4H W12 grille this type of mesh. But only need to source the same type of mesh (or as close as possible). Regards Kenneth

looks like it. I would possibly be a tad worried about it coming all the way from China undamaged though

Did anyone ever get to the bottom of where that grill came from?
It looks more like a facelift A8 grill which the chrome going horizontally, gloss black inserts and the mesh behind I WANT!
