You do get some bad hand car washes though, but that's why I asked for recommendations. I mean, what's the alternative? Service station jet wash and dirty brush or automatic car wash? I know some automatic car washes can be ok, but it's still hit and miss. The odd light scratch is unavoidable really, unless you have the time and facilities to wash it yourself every time.
