Default (O) on my dash, what does it mean?!

Having successfully changed my suspension arms i now have the yellow (O) on my DIS.

This can be thrown up by ABS sensors, worn pads, and low fluid i think.

I have tried cleaning the ABS sensor on the wheel i did the arms on, but it still comes up intermittently. if it was the sensor i would be expecting to see it come up instantly on startup, but its intermittent.

pads have plenty of meat, the ABS works, brakes feel fine, and it has fluid.

Any ideas whats causing it? is it finally time to invest in a vag com lead and run a scan?

Nick
