Climate control is set to bake!

A couple of issues!

The only time my car is ever cool/cold is when it is driven from start up, any stop that includes switching the engine off and then on again results in heat. It's like all of the heat from the wonderful 5.2 V10 has soaked into the climate system!

AC is weak, doesn't work on the passenger side and slowly takes effect after about 10 mins but that results in having to suffer 10 mins of hot car! Switching the system off and opening the windows is the only sure fire way of regulating the temp! LO, 16 - 25, HI seems to work ok, slowly.

Also and it may be my imagination, but I swear I can smell engine oil at certain times, when waiting at traffic lights for instance. Is there anyway the fumes of the hot circulating oil can get near/into the system? I have checked and oil level seems steady and I have not noticed any leaks, wet spots or patches under the car.

Anyway, comments/advice welcome. I do not have access to code reading software at the moment.

Water shut off valve up at bulkhead not closing hot water supply off ??

Clamp off hot supply water hose with flat grips at bulkhead then see how it seems .

When air con on ....the fatest air con pipe (suction side ) up at the bulkhead is it getting very cold ?

I'd book it in for an air-con regas. Audi charge £79 or something but local garages can do it for around £50.

Sophisticated climate systems sometimes prevent the more fundamental functions to work if the AC is low on gas.
