Done, Dusted and I'm knackered.
The weekend went as planned apart from journey times, each of the four parts were one hour less than expeted. Even Wigan to Folkestone Friday morning through all the roadworks went quickly. My only problem was that all three Tesco garages near Folkestone were broken, I had to use Shell motorway services.
Arrived back home at 00;40 this morning, and was up again at 06:15 to do the school run.
Just a day and a half and we'll catch the train for Manchester airport and fly away for a week in the sun.
I won't bore you with photos of either the weekend or Gran Canaria. But will say that the wedding venue and food were godalmighty good (Kastel Wittem).

The last sentence I wrote in my opening post in this thread was letting you all know that Speedlimiter and I are flying to Gran Canaria tomorrow for a week. So I'll be out of contact for eight days. Promise that I will catch up on our return, 'cos you cannot get rid of me that easily.

Some say that there are no coincidences, that they are all planned by some diety. I don't care, I beleive they happen. Take this one.
The Dutch couple that married last weekend are going on honeymoon tomorrow and are flying to Gran Canaria. In fact their flight from Eindoven lands twenty minutes after ours from Manchester (probably five minutes now 'cos ours as been delayed by 15 mins). They fly home again twenty minutes after us next Wednesday. We are staying fully inclusive in a bungalow and will be dining in the resort hotel which is where they are staying. Honestly no planning between us, in fact our daughter booked and paid for this without telling us until it was all fixed.
Now tell me that there are no coincidences.
