Default Vibration in steering wheel from about 50 upwards

Hi have a problem with my a8 when I go above about 50 mph.....I get vibration in the steering wheel....

I thought the wheels needed balancing lbut had this done and still getting the vibration sensation....I will get the wheel balance double checked....but was wondering what else could cause this sensation....

any ideas would be appreciated...

I dont know if this would be plausible....I pulled the abs sensor on the driver side and it was covered in dirt and rust....could a bad hub bearing or driveshaft cv joint cause this problem
