How to find factory option list for my S8
Have just spent a frustrating time searching for VIN decoders which will give me a list of the factory options and spec of my S8 - plugging the VIN into the Audi decoder shows when and where it was built but no list of options, there are links to what seem to be US sites but they don't find the VIN to be valid. I want to prepare it for sale after 14 years of ownership
It was really easy to do it for my BMW, but have had no luck with the S8 - help appreciated. |

Go to the parts guys at your dealer with your VIN and they will print it out for you.
Less comprehensive list if you use PR codes tool where you enter all PR codes from your PR codes sticker in the boot next to spare wheel, if yours is D3 as you haven't mentioned if it's D2 or D3 or have a signature contains car's info.

If you register with myaudi, there is a lot of data on there.
This is the URL... https://myaudi.audi.com/ Attachment 15817 Took me a while to find but the factory features are now under Product Rating for some reason. Attachment 15818 Last edited by snapdragon; 23rd April 2020 at 08:19 AM. |

Thanks, managed to get the myaudi link registered eventually - thats really helpful.
I am miles away from a main dealer - its also so much easier in 2017 to be able to access this info on the internet once you get the right link. |

Just Google 'Audi build sticker decoder' then enter up the codes that are printed on your build sticker, which you will find inside the spare wheel well and in the front of your service book.

Also, if you go on https://www.audi.co.uk/youraudi/youraudi.html
You can create a profile and get a quarterly Audi coffee table magazine if you add your address and set mailing prefs. to allow contact by post. |
