Footman James offer agreed valuation on their "classic" policy - I have my Fiat Coupe on one - but they don't recognise the S8 as a classic, so wouldn't offer it on that - at the moment, anyway...

I spoke with Chris Knot insurance yesterday regarding agreed value insurance on my car.
They declined to offer an agreed value of £6000 on my car due to the fact it falls into the high insurance category due to engine BHP (360bhp) Surely this is part of what makes the car more valuable, along with below average mileage, vehicle condition, vehicle rarity and replacement value in the case of a total loss. ![]() Does any Forum member have an agreed value insurance on a D2 S8 and if so, which Insurance Company are you with. If this insurance does not exist currently, perhaps we could negotiate a policy for any forum member wishing to take advantage of an agreed value policy. Strength in numbers may add weight to any proposal. Anyone else interested in pursuing this type of insurance cover, can they respond to this post. David
