Have you or someone previous retrofitted voice control, or does your car have voice control and the phone module been replaced.
There is a difference in mic connections depending on voice control or not. If you do not have voice control then the microphone is connected to the bluetooth module directly. If you do have voice control, then the microphone is connected to the voice control module instead. As Marcin found out when retrofitting voice control, correct microphone routing and coding of the modules is needed otherwise nobody can hear you, read the long thread here. http://forum.a8parts.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7651

Isn't the microphone up in here?
 In the MMI phone settings I'm sure there's an option to for rear passengers' microphone too, so is there also one in the back somewhere??
