Default Strong-flex Poly Bushes ???

Hi There,

Been looking at my suspension and came across these. Can be picked up off ebay, but the main web site is below. Don't know if anyone has used them or has any info, but thought there may be interest

A quick 101 on suspension components (or any components for that matter).

Using EKTA chase down the component you want then start to delve because it's a good chance given the age of our D2s that there has been some changes.............

In this case a bush for the front lower rear control arm.

Once you have it's number double click on it and up will come:

You can see the part was replace in 2005. Double click on that number:

and you'll see it was replace in 2007 . Double click that number....

And finally you'll find the latest part no.

Now go and check what models these parts will fit..

The first number fits....

The second number fits more!

However........

The third number is more specific and the reason may be that the control arm has changed through time as well.

The moral is to check what you have before buying components on the after market. If it's made to fit an A4 and it's the same part number that is fitted to your 8 then it should fit. There are UK based Poly Bush manufactures that do full kits for A4s that may fit your 8. Just check the part numbers of the components fitted first.
