How are you seeing the car going to sleep ? Is it by looking at hazard light back lighting ?

Return the MOST system back to normal. I am certain that it's the handles that's causing the issues.
Also make sure that the battery is correctly coded to the car.. providing that the battery is a genuine VAG one and intended for your car.

The battery is coded and working. I´m sure that is not an issue here as I previously had it done by Audi
By returning the MOST back to normal you mean just leave it as it is right? with out the loop. But how do you explain that the car enters sleep mode when I pull a fuse? |

yes return the most back to factory specs and replace the handles.. that should cure it.

On a day when your door handles have dried out, put tape across the buttons to seal them. Then wait for the rain and see if the battery drain persists

Have a look on ebay for the handles.. you can always have them repainted. Or you can get a brand new one, primed, from TPS from £96

As already said and expected from the beginning sort the handles first buddy.
Just don't buy second hand handles please !!! It's not a 5min job and all handles fail, so a used one my last a week, month, year or already have same issue. What Nick said about drying them and putting tape over is a good idea, put some good quality waterproof tape over it, but dont wait for the rain, take a hose or karcher and soak the car properly and see what happens. BUT don't cover just the button, cover the gap between the chrome trim and handle's body as well. Your previous issue with water in the boot would very unlikely reach radio or sat nav. Amp possibly, but it was more likely a slow drip, nothing like hosing down the boot area with a garden hose. All this MOST loop results could be just a pure coincident. I could be wrong. When it happened, have you actually seen water all over any of them components (radio, amp, dvd drive) ??

I think it was because of my left outer rear light. If you remove the light, you will see a small knob on the body where the light fits over....the counter part on the light was broken, so it didnt sit right. I believe thats the reason for the water ingress. And my radio started acting up...giving off weird sounds..tried to reboot it all first, but that didnt do anything ...the sounds continued.
