The black FE I picked up recently. We pulled the interior out so it can be professionally cleaned before the grey plastic goes black and it goes in my S8, and then Mike set about removing the aftermarket locking wheel bolts which had been blasted in by a rattle gun. They were so tight that they key destroyed itself when I tried to remove them, but they couldn't withstand Mike and a cold chisel

How much red is too much red?

You cant get enough red - tho it might be OTT if you had put it into Deans!
The colour balance of that photo/my screen makes them look more purple tbh.

You could try to adjust the white balance afterwards with a editing program.

I can adjust it on the phone, but the raw image is pretty rubbish to start with.

Fluorescent:

Daylight:

There should be some proper photos and maybe a video on Wednesday when the pros are here

Ouch.....having a similar issue with stainless steel m6 hex screws that have welded themselves to an aluminium seating track.

I'm assuming the stainless is wound into a tapped hole in the ali? If it is then you have galvanic corrosion due to the dissimilar metals, the aluminium has acted as a cathode. They would need to be totally insulated from each other.

I know it would be wrong to have red inside and out. But I still keep thinking about it.
There's a part of me that would like to try it. But then again it might make me feel nauseous.

I think I should take a few pictures of the inside of Big Red (from the outside) and get creative with the Photoshop > Image > Adjustments > Replace Color (sic) to get the idea out of my head once and for all.

I know that when I see MJ's trim inside her car I am going to get the idea back in my head again.
