That disc of yours that works is likely a better quality DVD than the ones I use. I was telling Ray the same, that my cheapo DVDs (that I can watch TV through, they’re so transparent) may not work in his, but funnily enough it did!

If you can get hold of a decent quality DVD and get it to me I’ll gladly try again.

Thanks guys - much appreciated to all - It would be great to have an updated disc that works and also to find out if my DVD nav drive has an issue or not ultimately.

Not sure if he's very active here now he no longer has his S8, but Adrian_E used to be good at producing a variety of SatNav discs.
