Amazon bailed on the second of three Vega orders yesterday. They'd been saying the 6th since January, then by 4pm gave up and said they weren't coming

I managed to get a new one on ebay for £650 (which is what the other two have earned so far) so going to stick with three for now and see what happens. If nothing else, they make a very effective clothes dryer

Gizmo is very pleased with his Ethereum heater btw He won't sit still for a photo though!

Oh like this thread, I own a lot of crypto, dabbled in mining but nothing on a large scale.

You guys seen Electroneum is on a mobile mining platform? Might try running a few android emulators at once see what hash it gets!

Here's another good talk by Andreas, if you haven't already seen it (posted a little over a week ago and filmed at the Slush Conference in Helsinki a few months ago).

In this talk, Andreas delivers a message to entrepreneurs and startup founders about why they must be brave enough to innovate faster than incumbents can write the permission slips.

I need to get some Electroneum. Looks like a very promising development.

I think this is what killed GPU/CPU CryptoNight profitability. Hashing power of 10 RX Vegas or 25 RX 580 with 60W (3%) power consumption. Or if it was not because of this then it will see even higher profitability drops.

I have inquired about price, MOQ and shipping dates.

Damn. I thought it was just the low price. Asics ruin everything

I've had to switch the Vegas to Eth since they weren't even covering the electricity on XMR any more

I wonder if its worth mining a bunch of Electroneum before these things come online and make the difficulty too high?

ainarssems - Could be interested in a group buy if MOQ's and a reasonable price?

Crypto really seems to be struggling atm. I keep getting more coins and my wallet goes down

Still carrying on though. Getting about 35 LCC a day (Antminers) and 0.3 GBX (4xGTX970). Not entirely sure it's covering it's costs atm but then the prices vs coin grab!

Good video, though with lots of people cracking down, people are running scared. Daft really as it shows a lack of understanding, but that's sheeple!

Precisely. The greatest threat to crypto isn't banks, governments or regulation, it's misinformation and misunderstanding. When the majority of people begin to realise that it cannot be stopped, I think the banks will be given a run for their money (if you pardon the pun).

That's pretty amazing performance for 60W. Be interesting to know how much they're selling for if you get a reply.

Hi,

Sorry for delay.
Thank you for your contacting.

Three types of sale. (shipping charge not included)
1).Giant-N Price at 3600 usd/pc Delivery within 7 working days after receiving payment.
2) .Giant-B Price at 4000 usd/pc Delivery at 10th-30th April.
3) .Giant-X10 Price at 4000 usd/pc Delivery at 10th-30th April.

Sale item:
Payment: USD dollar transfer Only
Minimum order quantity: 6 units (MOQ for each type)
Shipping will be DHL/UPS. Waybill could be provided once we sent the miner from email.
Power supply: We never sell PSU. We would recommend you to buy PSU from your local market or online shop like amazon.
Please let me know which product you are interest.
When comparing price to 10x Vegas Giant N price is not that bad considering low power consumption but the profitability will go down. If there was no MOQ and price around $2000, maybe $2500 I would probably go for one 50/50 together with a friend but MOQ of 6 puts it out of consideration for me.

Speaking of going 50/50, aA that I bought together with a friend should be arriving today.

I take it back. Bitmain just released X3 which has hashpower of 11 Giant N or 110 Vegas @550W . A bit expensive though https://shop.bitmain.com/productDeta...379CD35Gxy064F
