Can I spot a Milltek on her too? Doesn't look like a standard S8 exhaust

Congrats Dean

Now you have the S8 home, are they the same colour? In theory Big Red should be a bit more orange.

Wow! You've got a keen eye, Adrian. Can you spot that it doesn't have the latest Sat Nav disk either?
It is a non-stock exhaust but I am not sure which. The hanging mechanism is doing its job at the rear but I don't like the look of the way its mounted like that.
For those that like the V8 burble droning on inside the car (or outside for that matter) then this exhaust sounds great without its silencer/muffler, but I prefer a more muted tone. This is my first A8 with double glazing acoustic glass and I'm not getting the benefit. So the exhaust is something that might be changed.
Here are a few shots of it:

Cheers. The colour difference is definitely noticeable between the Misano and the Tornado but to me, the Tornado on Big Red appears to be a shade darker when I was photographing it. But then there was a bit more sunlight on the S8 at the time.
My Samsung phone oversaturates colours like all Samsung phones so you'll probably not get the true impression of the cars from the following shots. But you will notice what I mean when you see them both together (sorry that I didn't have time to wash Big Red before these photos were taken so she looks a bit dusty with the pollen in the air around here):

And finally, whilst driving to the park to take these shots, I saw my first "Spotted on Tarmac" S8 PF. It was Ainars S8 being driven by, I assume, Lady Ainars. The car looked very nice too.

Those are two damn good looking 8s!

That's definitely not a Milltek exhaust. No wonder you don't like it! I would expect that to sound much the same as the one we took off Big Red, ie pretty annoying. It'd probably work quite well with a pair of rotary mufflers though I have a couple of original S8 exhausts so I'm sure we can sort something a bit quieter

Interesting, I just showed Beverley the side-by-side pictures and she immediately said "that one is more Orange!" yet I couldn't tell.

Stunning pictures by the way.
