I think interesting and boot space are pretty much opposites in my book. I could add RX7 to my previous list but still no boot space, some Volvos are interesting to me or SAABs

Maybe RS4 or RS6 estate?

It's a daily driver, which by nature, needs to be a practical car, including enough boot space for my tools, cables and suitcase,

The weekend driver will not need boot space...

Most D3s are a bit long in the tooth for what I want from my daily driver Ray, needs to be something a bit younger, but I like your thinking.

Not ruling one out, might fill a gap between cars if nothing else takes my fancy
