Not sure whether my 2014 Ad-Blue equipped Facelift will be eligible for the recall but I probably won’t bother.
I have heard (unsubstantiated) that this may also lock the ECU to prevent any 3rd party remap in future. As I am still toying with the idea of another remap (I had my 2011 mapped previously 350-415PS & 800->966Nm) I don’t want to risk locking them out. As if 385PS/850Nm wasn’t enough to begin with... ![]() -=Glyn=- |

Well that's a relief because I remember seeing something in one of my Audi apps that said my car was due an emissions recall or something similar but I don't recall seeing it recently.
I was worried the dealer might have done it by stealth which would p*ss me off greatly if I had paid £500 or so for a remap prior to that. I had visions of them removing any map that might be on the ECU and then locking it afterwards. Might just get my car booked in for a service but have no faith in any Audi main dealers locally... ![]() -=Glyn=- |
