That's the response I was getting from audi Ireland dealers, however most of them struggle to spell audi so I wouldn't take that as gospel, however a few German dealers I messaged said the same....

The German online retailers can buy from Audi Tradition who now have the few remaining D2 spares so many of them can still get the parts, albeit at a higher cost. Unfortunately we can't buy from Tradition in the UK because they are complete cretins who can't grasp the concept of international trade, or indeed even e-commerce

TPS are telling me its on back order which means theoretically still available although we won't know for sure until we actually order it. £130 if you want me to try ordering one?

Hang tough for me for a week or so if that's OK, crankseal and clutch need doing on the Volvo so that's this week's funding hammered. Thank you though and all going to plan I'll get you to do that. Thanks
