Remember Stuart Hall?
Many years back, well before he fell from grace he opened an International Travel Shop Line. The first was opened with great pomp and circumstance in Middleton, North East of Manchester. I was involved because a Military Band had been booked and I had the job of transporting them to and fro from their camp near Bromsgrove. Grand opening performed by some dignitary and the band marched with streams of kids and other hangers on following them around Middleton Town Centre. When we arrived back at the newly opened shop there was a bit of a furore going on. They had set up some big banners that read rather nicely "Stuart Hall International Travel". Unfortunately the smaller banners and the preprinted handouts used the initials "SH1T"
