I've seen 2G & 3G mentioned, but how about the 2G High as fitted to my 2007. My AMI powers a hard drive, does anyone know if that indicate it will power a bluetooth dongle?

I've bought this - quoted by Snapdragon a few posts back.
I have the glovebox out and was wondering - for powering the device with constant power, I've sourced an empty 12v on the fuseboard (at position 40 - Brake Servo??)- although there's only one side of the fuse connector there, so is it possible to buy a crimp connector that would go in the other side that I would then join together with the existing live side by putting in a fuse? I was gonna bolt the -ve cable to the chassis - this is all to avoid splicing into the existing power going in the back of the CD changer as all that came with the installation kit were scotchblock connectors which seem to be too big for these small cables.

Finished the install today with a fuse tap into the horn. I now have A2DP bluetooth streaming, aux, and microSD card. Just the glove box to put back in now which I'm not looking forward to...

I only just noticed what rSAP was doing to my SIM card - my first thought was my phone had a fault until I realised I was losing the SIM when only in the car. So I've set the car pairing to phone call only with no rSAP and then also paired with the MrVolt device for media. All was good with streaming through the media device until I took a phonecall. The music muted and the MMI took over to handle the call. When the call finished the music came back up on the MMI screen but there was no sound. It seems the MMI is not relinquishing the audio back to the media device after the call finishes.I'll have to investigate further. Another possibility I can explore is to let the media device handle the calls as well - I'd need to wire in the included mic.
