Fuel injector clip

While struggeling to replace the headcover gaskets on my 2004 BFM engine I had to remove the fuel rail.

The engineers decided it was a good idea to put plastic retainers to hold the lower O-rings in place, and of course these brake into bits when the rail with injectors come out. (See attached pictures)



has anyone got experience with this?

Can the retaining rings be purchased separate somewhere?

That piece is not listed separately in the parts catalogue so you'll probably need to speak to an injector refurbishing specialist.

I just got a rep kit from e-bay. I`ll see if it fits when it gets here.
