Have you tried an online 'Man and Van' service? I used one several years ago ... Shiply, I think it was: https://www.shiply.com/search
The way it works, as I recall/understand, is you submit a request for a quote, after which you should start receiving quotes from numerous independent van drivers who are local or frequently drive the route. They're usually a bit cheaper than courier services. Once you get a suitable quote you should be able to contact the driver and discuss any special requirements.
